So I applied the KBS BlackTop Chassis Paint over some of the rust shield. The rust shield product is not UV-resistant, so it needs another coat of this.
Yeah. I know. The parts are under the car. But I also hoped to smooth out some of my shoddy brush work.
I continued working on some of the smaller tins today.

There was definitely some kind of surface contamination of these pieces.

It caused some mottled bubbling when the spray hit it.
I’m not sure how well this VHT product would sand smooth. I could end up just making a bigger nasty mess.

The three rear pipes are more or less ok. Some of the same, but nothing like the under cylinder front tin.
