$600 Type 4 engine? Should I?

Posted on 2020-05-03

So a 1.7L Type 4 engine that runs and appears to be more or less complete popped up on a sale page and I am so tempted to get it.

It is only 2 hours away, and I so want to have a Type 4 engine to learn on.

That said, I haze zero storage space.

Zero.

The other-half added another project car to the driveway, and until the 2019 new build engine is running and installed into Żuczek I don’t have that space.

Plus, there’s the imminent pulling of Murbella’s engine for work that needs space.

So. What to do? Should I get it and just suck it up with no space? Or pass on a great deal?

Given the other project car will have a ton of space needed for the incoming body parts, I just can’t see this purchase happening and I can’t ask the person to hold it.
