Putzing around Pinterest let me to some photos of an amazing almost modern dash and console in a 1300/1302 Brazilian Beetle.
The car itself is beautiful, done up with a nice lighter silver, some chrome blacked out, painted bumpers, and oversized tires and modern rims. However, it was the dashboard that caught my eye, with modern digital gauges and such.
It looks like they used a switch from a modern New Beetle for the headlight switch but I have no idea where that steering wheel is from.
There’s some kind if digital touchpad integrated into the console.
The doors are heavily modded, with the addition of a speaker, armrests, and a recessing of the door latch. Whatever that has been modded from, it has added about 1 to 1.25 inches of depth to the door, at least at the top.
From the name on the pics, and the touchpad, I have to assume that a lot of this came from Leandrini, a Brazilian automotive aftermarket and performance shop.
Definitely the kind of dash setup I can envision for Żuczek B. in the future.
