The tin cleaning and painting continued today.
Some of the ones already done had drips and areas I was not happy with so I sanded them down and recoated them.
Finally got around to more sanding and cleanup of the fan shrould. It took several acetone baths for it to really feel clean.
While I am not intentionally trying to get the interior of the fan shroud, some of it is getting painted.
While not as hot as recent days, it is still pretty warm so I’m trying to do my best to keep parts in the sun. There’s a nice breeze which really helps the solvent evaporate.
I eventually got the first paint coats on. These will get a 2nd coat tomorrow, and likely the clear cover on Saturday along with all of the other tin pieces that should be done.
