So there have been more than a few times over the past 18 months when I’ve needed actual micrometers.
During the 2019 New Build, I kept resorting to rather crappy digital calipers to get my readings and was always frustrated with them.
Now mind you, the ones I have are pretty cheap so you get what you pay for.
And that leads me to wondering how bad (or possibly at least adequate) the BoTaiDaHong 6pc Micrometer Set I purchased off Amazon will be. I am hoping that in general, with careful use, they’ll last some time.
Of course, I can find absolutely no information on BoTaiDaHong other than the name all over the net for products. So I imagine it is a pretty generic Chinese company since the name is on all kinds of unrelated stuff.
Hell, you’ll see the same general set of micrometers under different names (and prices) all over Amazon.
