Wait! Did You See That? The Beetle for a fraction of a second in this week’s “Bow Tie ‘Til I Die” episode of Fantomworks?
I’m pretty sure that this the 1967 Beetle from this season’s episode 10 titled “Beetle Juiced” down to bare metal and primer.
This was a car that I didn’t like when the owner brought it in nor when it ultimately left. A 67 is a rare one-off year and a thing of beauty so major heavy custom modding of it just doesn’t work for me at all. I was fine with the high HP engine but the body, matte black color, and the louvered front bonnet hood just is so outside of my taste zone.
Obviously, the owner loves it and was willing to pay for substantial work on it.
